During this week, students learnt present perfect continuous and they did some extra worksheets so they are able to use this grammar perfectly. Pages 25 and 26 were covered, too.

Following sentences have been covered:

How long have you been studying the guitar? I’ve been studying the guitar for ten years.

She has been learning English since she was five years old.

She has been cooking for two hours.

Also students got familiar with Golestan palace and they were ready to talk to tourists.

Pre-school

Students learnt to recognize and point to their body parts. They also practiced letters “Aa,Hh,Ii,Mm,Nn,Pp,Ss,Tt” with their actions and examples.

Head, shoulders, knees and toes

Eyes and ears and mouth and nose

Seasons and numbers one to ten were practiced.

۱st grade /phonics2/

۳rd grade /odi2/

During the week previous objects of unit 1 and 2 were practiced. Students tried to enhance their writing skill by writing dictation.

Book vocabularies have been practiced during the week.

 

۴th,5th,6th grade /odi4/

Declaring feelings and their reasons have been practiced during the week.

Students learnt to talk about the things make them happy/sad/disgusted/embarrassed/proud/…

What makes you feel excited?  Rainy days makes me feel excited.

What makes you laugh? Watching a funny movie makes you laugh.

Also students got familiar with Golestan palace and they were ready to talk to tourists.

۲nd and 3rd grade /odi 1/

During this week, all the subjects were reviewed. Students learnt to arrange the countries alphabetically.

Also, they got familiar with vocabularies such as: shadow, puppet, and dragon.

۴th, 5th and 6th grade /odi3/

Students got familiar with Golestan palace and they were ready to talk to tourists.

Also, they learnt to use language from the unit to identify and describe portraits. Following vocabularies were presented.

Man, men, woman, women, children

In addition, /ay//er/ were reviewed.

۴th, 5th, 6th \ odi1\

These subjects were taught {a shopping list, phonics, musical instruments words such as :{ piano, violin, guitar, drum}, my school and self-assessment}.

 All of the subjects related to unit 1 asked and reviewed.  Students did dictation tests and some pages of their books, too.

 School subjects (classroom objects words such as: pencil, sharpener etc.) were reviewed.

 Classroom action words (sit down, stand up, open your book, close your book & etc.) and the structure “demonstrations” {this is, these are, that is, those are} were reviewed, too.

They can make following sentences:

What’s this? It’s a pen.     What are these? They are pens.          What color are they? They are red.

What’s that? It’s a chair.    What are those? They are chairs.    What color are they? They are brown.

۲nd /phonics 2/

In phonics session, long /a/ (ai, ay, a-e) + long /e/ (ee, ea) were reviewed with examples and sentences. Students learnt some words that begins with ( tr, st, gr).

 

Long /i / (ie,i-e) with its words, sound, action and  sentences was taught. Students did some pages of their books, too.

Math subjects such as: different sizes (smallest, small, medium, big, and biggest) + written form of the numbers 4, 5, 6 were taught & covered.

Letter/ n/ with its action, sound, formation, and words was taught.

 Following questions have been practiced:

What color is it? What color do you like?

Students did some pages of their math books + phonics books, too.

Pre/phonics 1/

Letter /s/ with its sound, action, formation, blending sounds and flashcards was taught.

Letter /s/ like: snake, star, sun, socks, spider, sink, spoon.

Blending sounds: sa,si

Parts of the body was introduced with super song: head, shoulder knees and toes , eyes and ears and mouth and nose.
