During GE sessions, students have been able to use present perfect and following sentences have been covered:

I have been very busy today.

I haven’t had music class today.

He hasn’t watched a video today.

Have you had a music class? Yes, I have. No, I haven’t.

Has she seen a play? Yes, she has. No, she hasn’t.

During the week long vowels were reviewed. Students completed their phonics book. Blended consonants “gr,tr, st” were taught.

In math class, they learnt to name and write numbers 1-20 correctly.

۲^nd grade

Students learnt about job and occupation. They practiced to ask and answer about their nationality. Moreover the difference between “possessive‘s” and “contraction‘s” has been clarified.

During this week, students practiced letters and blended words. They learnt letter /n/ sound and words such as: nest, nose, neck, and nine.

In GE session, students got familiar with different clothes such as: skirt, jeans, trousers, dress, socks, shoes,… .They practiced dictation of new words. Also, they are able to talk about what they are wearing.
