۱^st grade

During Math session, students learnt how to read and write numbers 1-10.

In phonics session, they got familiar with letters /d/ and /g/.

Dog, duck, doctor, goat, garden, gate, guitar.

Also, the previous letters were reviewed.

۲^nd grade

In Math session, they got familiar with the concept of before and after.

In Science session, students learnt different matters (solid, liquid, gas).

Following sentences have been covered:

Water is liquid.

Pen is solid.

Air is gas.

They are able to identify the difference between (soft & hard) and (smooth & rough).

۳^rd grade

In Science session, students learnt what covers the body of some animals and what things they need to live.

Animals need food, water and air.

In GE session, students had a test of unit 1. In addition, the spelling of vocabularies was practiced.

Following sentences have been covered:

Are you wearing a red jacket? Yes, I am.     No, I’m not.

Is she wearing blue jeans? Yes, she is.   No, she isn’t.

Would you like a red scarf? Yes, I would.   No, I wouldn’t.

۴^th, 5^th grade

Students had a grammar test of unit 1 and unit 2. In addition, the spelling of vocabularies was practiced.

Following sentences have been covered:

Letters /a,t,m,n,s/ were reviewed, beside students learnt /Rr/ sound and the examples.

۱^st grade

Matters (liquid, solid, gas) were reviewed by different materials.

Water is liquid, book is solid….

Long /a/, /i/ , /e/ were reviewed by worksheets and assignments.

۲^nd grade

Previous subjects such as family members, emotions and feelings, occupations, and actions were reviewed. Students tried to read new pages of storybook. Moreover the modal verb “can” was taught during the week.

Can you jump? Yes I can.     or      no, I can’t .

۳^rd grade

Students had many sessions of dictation. They gave a test from units 1 and 2. House objects with past tense grammar of “to be” verbs were taught and practiced.

The sofa was in front of the wardrobe.

The plants were opposite the TV.

۴^th, 5^th, 6^th  grade

Students had many sessions of dictation. They gave a test from units 1 and 2. House objects with past tense grammar of “to be” verbs were taught and practiced.

۵^th and 6^th

Students read some reading parts and gave a summary of them in order to improve their reading and speaking skills.

They learnt negative contractions, too.

Students did their activity books and read their storybooks during this week.
