۵th and 6th

During this week, students learnt some proverbs as an extra activity. Also students read their story books and practiced the new words in group.

They learnt how to ask someone to repeat something in pairs. /extra conversation/

Students learnt and practiced non-defining relative clause and did extra worksheets, too.

Students practiced “Tohid Sura” and practiced reading sentences containing previous vowels and consonants. They also reviewed science subjects.

This is a yellow coat.

This is a blue glue.

In Science sessions, following sentences have been covered:

This is a plant. It has got roots, stem, and leaf.

There are different matters, gas like balloon, solid like book, liquid like water.

۲nd grade

The drama of “swimming competition” has been practiced during the week. “has” and “have” were practiced in sentences. “can” and “can’t” also were reviewed and practiced.

I have a pet. It has got a tail. It has got four legs.

I can jump.

I can’t climb a tree.

۳rd grade

Some videos relating to animals were played and practiced. The usage of “some” and “any” has been reviewed and practiced in positive and negative sentences on worksheets. Moreover students practiced past tense and irregular verbs.

We haven’t got any sugar.

She buys some bananas.

I forgot to buy.

She ran in the park.

۴th,5th, 6th grade

During this week, students learnt to sing “in the cottage” song. In Science sessions, students got familiar with different parts of a plant.

In phonics sessions, letters / l, I, m/ were reviewed. Students learnt letter /c/ sound and words such as: car, cake, candle, carrot, coat, candy.

۱st grade

During this week, students learnt to read sight words such as: I, a, is, this, has.

They are able to read following sentences:

This is a plant. It has flowers. It has a stem. It has a leaf. It has roots.

Also, they are able to talk about healthy and unhealthy food:

This is an apple. I like apples. It’s red and round. They are healthy.

This is a candy. I like candies. It’s yellow and round. They are unhealthy.

۲nd grade

In Science sessions, students got familiar with different parts of a plant.

Chair, chain, beach, church.

Brush, shoes, shark, sheep.

۳rd grade

Students learnt how to use “some” and “any” in negative and question forms.

There is a tree.  Is there a tree? Yes, there is.  No, there isn’t. There isn’t a tree.

There are some birds. Are there any birds? Yes, there are. No, there aren’t. There aren’t any birds.

In addition, students learnt usage of “must” and “must not”.

We must water the plants.

We must not drop litter.
